Higher Reps

 

How many powerlifters do you know that talk about how great the pump was from their 3 rep set of bench press?

 

Probably none.

 

That’s because it’s next to impossible to get a massive muscle pump from low rep training. Yes, low reps are great for building strength and size, but they suck for getting your pump on.

Short Rest Periods

 

No one wants to be in the gym for 2 hours before heading out for a night on the town.
